As a Security Professional in an access control role within a logistics and distribution environment, you will play a key part in helping to maintain a secure environment for personnel, property, and assets. Your responsibilities will involve monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the location to help deter security-related incidents. You will be highly visible, providing a reassuring presence while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication to all visitors and team members. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
• Assist visitors, employees, and vendors by providing customer service and communicating site-specific protocols.
• Perform regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report any irregularities.
• Respond promptly to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or unusual occurrences as required by Allied Universal and site policies.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuations or other procedures as directed by site leadership.
• Maintain awareness of site-specific policies and procedures to help to deter potential security-related risks within the logistics and distribution environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
