As a Security Officer - Healthcare Site Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will play a key role in fostering a secure and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your main responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the facility, remaining highly visible to help deter potential security-related incidents, and responding to situations as they arise. You will interact regularly with a diverse group of people, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting the hospital's mission. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or property damage within the healthcare environment.
  • Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and patients to provide assistance and information as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and healthcare personnel to address security-related issues and maintain a welcoming environment.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by site procedures.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Must be comfortable using a computer or tablet; this is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
