As a Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol Full-Time in Columbia, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. You will conduct routine patrols and respond promptly to any security-related concerns, always demonstrating reliability, teamwork, and integrity. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professional conduct at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns or hazards.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas within the location to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible presence.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and/or visitors to address questions or concerns related to security-related matters.
• Assist with access control procedures and visitor management as outlined in site-specific protocols.
• Remain alert to surroundings and report any unusual or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
