As a Security Professional - Campus Patrol Full-Time in Baltimore, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a prominent educational location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and fostering a welcoming environment for students, faculty, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the campus, remaining highly visible to provide reassurance and support, and responding promptly to situations as they arise. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, students, faculty, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus buildings and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor campus areas for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to site procedures.
• Support a welcoming campus environment by assisting individuals with directions and general information as needed.
• Observe and report maintenance or potential hazards found during patrols to the appropriate campus personnel.
• Collaborate with campus staff and/or law enforcement as required during incidents or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
