As a Security Officer - Media Facility - Full Time in Whitsett, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in helping to create a secure environment within a dynamic technology-focused location. Your primary responsibilities include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and serving as a knowledgeable resource for those on site. You will interact regularly with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication to address any questions or concerns. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding as appropriate to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the site and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe the premises to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior.
• Document and report any unusual activity, incidents, or maintenance needs observed during patrols.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site contacts to support security-related operations at the location.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to changing conditions within a technology-driven environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
