As a Security Officer - - Retail Center - Full Time in Aiea, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure atmosphere at a bustling retail or mall location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and providing exceptional customer service to visitors and staff. In this driving post, you will be required to operate a vehicle in accordance with company policy, making a valid driver's license essential. You will also utilize technology such as computers or tablets to support your daily duties. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities, hazards, or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits and verifying credentials as required by site-specific procedures.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of patrols, incidents, and observations as directed by Allied Universal and site management.
• Support a welcoming environment by providing directions and assistance to visitors, tenants, and/or employees as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
