As a Security Officer Armed Aero Patrol in Canoga Park, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a dynamic aerospace and defense location. Your duties will include conducting routine patrols across assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. This position is both an armed and driving post, so you will be responsible for carrying a firearm and operating a vehicle as part of your patrol responsibilities. You will be trusted to respond promptly to incidents, communicate clearly with team members and site personnel, and uphold the highest standards of professionalism. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and monitor for unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas as per site-specific requirements.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and observations during assigned shifts.
• Work collaboratively with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and support operational needs.
• Carry and maintain proficiency with assigned firearms and adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies regarding armed posts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Handcuffing Certification is preferred.
• Pepper Spray Certification is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements for driving positions.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
