As a Security Officer Unarmed Retail Patrols Full-Time in Bellevue, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for everyone on site. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the premises, staying highly visible to support a secure environment, and assisting customers, visitors, and staff with professionalism and care. This position is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for unusual circumstances.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and employees as needed during patrols and while responding to incidents.
• Document observations, incidents, and/or irregularities according to site and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and provide proof as required by the client.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
