As a Security Professional - Unarmed Site - Morning Shift in Culver City, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions and more .

As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play an important role in maintaining a secure and welcoming environment within a cultural institution. You will conduct routine unarmed patrols throughout the location, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide reassurance to guests and staff. Your presence and professionalism will support the overall experience for everyone on site. In this driving post, you will use your valid driver's license to navigate the premises as needed, responding promptly to situations and assisting with access control. You will also have the opportunity to interact with a diverse range of people, offering exceptional customer service and clear communication at every turn. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor the premises of cultural institutions, observing and reporting any irregularities or unusual occurrences to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with access control by verifying the credentials of visitors, staff, and contractors as required by site policies.
  • Support the preservation of a welcoming environment for guests while maintaining a visible Allied Universal presence throughout the location.
  • Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
