As a Security Officer Chemical Site Patrol in Wilmington, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment at a chemical or petrochemical location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the facility, staying visible to help discourage potential incidents, and responding promptly to any security-related concerns. You will interact with employees, visitors, and contractors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the highest standards of professionalism. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as you complete your patrols. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the chemical or petrochemical location, and respond appropriately to emergencies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards.
• Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to site procedures.
• Communicate with site personnel, visitors, and contractors to provide assistance and relay security-related information as needed.
• Document patrols, observations, and incidents accurately in daily activity reports or logs.
• Support Allied Universal management and site leadership with any security-related tasks or assignments as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must possess a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) issued by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license in the state in which you are applying.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
