As a Security Officer - Government Site - Weekdays in Cary, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure environment within a government location. You will be responsible for conducting routine patrols throughout the assigned area, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. Your presence and attentiveness will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, as you engage with individuals on site and provide exceptional customer service. This role may require you to ride a bike as part of your patrol duties, allowing you to cover a wide area efficiently while maintaining a strong presence. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, following Allied Universal standards.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior and report security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Assist visitors, staff, and/or contractors by providing information and guidance as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
• Support emergency response activities as required by site policies and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to ride a bike.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
