As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting the security-related needs of a renowned cultural institution. In this Armed patrol position, you will conduct routine patrols throughout the location to help to deter potential incidents, maintain a visible presence, and provide outstanding customer service to staff and visitors. You will also be responsible for responding to situations as they arise, using your communication skills to address concerns and assist individuals. This position requires driving as part of your patrol duties, so a valid driver's license is necessary. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and monitor for any unusual conditions.
• Observe and report any security-related issues or incidents to the appropriate personnel in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines.
• Support the cultural environment by maintaining a visible presence and assisting with access control, visitor management, and other security-related tasks as needed.
• Collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal team members to maintain a welcoming and secure atmosphere for all occupants and guests.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
