As a Security Professional specializing in access control within a logistics and distribution environment, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure atmosphere for all personnel and visitors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and conducting regular patrols throughout the facility to help maintain order and provide a visible presence. You will work closely with team members, utilizing your strong communication skills and commitment to customer service to address inquiries and respond to situations as they arise. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
• Assist with security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and protocols as directed by Allied Universal and client requirements.
• Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting visitors, employees, and delivery personnel in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities in reports as required.
• Collaborate with site personnel to support emergency response activities and maintain a secure environment.
• Remain alert to unusual activity and report security-related concerns to the appropriate authorities or management personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
