As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment within a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and helping to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas. Through regular patrols and a strong visible presence, you will help to prevent security-related incidents and support the smooth operation of daily activities. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
• Follow site-specific policies and security-related procedures to help maintain order and protect property.
• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by answering questions and assisting with directions or site information.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as necessary according to protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and report any unusual conditions.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of access control activities, incidents, and observations as required by site protocols.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuations or lockdowns if needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
