As a Security Professional - Telecom Site Patrol in Hopewell Junction, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas within a dynamic technology and media environment. Your presence and routine patrols will help to deter security-related incidents while fostering a welcoming atmosphere for everyone on site. You will engage with individuals throughout the location, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication, while supporting access control and responding to situations as needed. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by location, especially in a tech, media, or telecom setting.
• Monitor and report any unusual activity or incidents promptly to Allied Universal management and/or designated client representatives.
• Assist with access control by verifying credentials of individuals entering the premises as required by site protocols.
• Support a secure environment by observing and reporting maintenance or security-related hazards encountered during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
