As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic retail and mall environment, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the location. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the retail location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail environment and around the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure atmosphere.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior or situations to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as required by site procedures.
• Support store staff and management with security-related matters as directed.
• Document and communicate incidents and daily activities according to Allied Universal protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possession of a Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control systems and/or badge management is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
