As a Security Professional - Retail Site - Full Time in Lithonia, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As a Front Desk officer at a bustling retail distribution center, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, employees, and vendors, providing a welcoming presence and delivering exceptional customer service. Your core responsibility will be to monitor access at the front desk, verifying credentials and assisting with inquiries to help maintain a secure environment. You will remain attentive to all activity in your area, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visibility and strong communication skills. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and/or credentials as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences at the front desk.
• Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, communicating with Allied Universal management and/or local authorities when necessary.
• Help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity by maintaining a professional presence at the front desk.
• Answer questions and provide information to visitors and employees regarding building procedures and/or directions within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
