As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents within a dynamic retail environment. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the location, maintaining a strong presence to help discourage unwanted activity, and responding promptly to any security-related concerns. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding to situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and protocols appropriate for an armed patrol post.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to identify any security-related concerns.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior or situations within the retail environment and report findings according to established procedures.
• Support access control by verifying credentials and assisting with entry procedures as required.
• Assist in emergency response activities, following established protocols for various scenarios.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities as required by Allied Universal and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Level III Armed Certification is required for positions in Texas.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
