As a Security Professional - Access Patrol in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more .

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting security-related operations within a financial institution environment. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the assigned location to help to deter unauthorized access and incidents. By remaining visible and approachable, you will provide outstanding customer service and foster a welcoming atmosphere for employees and visitors alike. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and/or clients with security-related inquiries and directions.
• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and the client site.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security-related issues.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of access control activities, incidents, and observations as required.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including communication with local authorities and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
