As a Security Officer with Allied Universal assigned to an access control post in an aerospace and defense location, you will play a vital role in helping to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and controlling entry points. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols of assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter unwanted activity, and providing exceptional customer service to all personnel and visitors. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials of personnel, visitors, and vehicles entering or leaving the location to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter security-related risks, with attention to sensitive areas typical of an aerospace and defense environment.
• Document and report any irregularities, suspicious activities, or breaches of protocols according to Allied Universal and client site requirements.
• Work collaboratively with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure environment.
• Remain alert to security-related hazards and assist in implementing site-specific procedures as directed.
• Operate security-related technology and equipment as required by the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
