As a Security Guard - Unarmed Patrol Distribution in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a busy logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help to deter potential security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone on site. You will interact with staff and visitors, respond to situations as they arise, and communicate clearly to support a positive and professional atmosphere. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the overall security-related needs of the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or conditions, following established protocols and communicating with Allied Universal management and/or site representatives as needed.
• Assist visitors, vendors, and/or employees with inquiries and directions while maintaining awareness of security-related protocols at the location.
• Complete required reports and documentation regarding incidents, patrols, and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
