As a member of the Allied Universal team in a healthcare-focused environment, you will serve as a Patrol Unarmed Officer, playing a crucial role in helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a secure atmosphere for all staff, visitors, and patients. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the assigned location, maintaining a visible presence to help promote order, and responding promptly to any security-related concerns. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
• Assist staff, visitors, and others in the location with security-related inquiries and directions.
• Document and report any incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to site procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare personnel and local authorities during emergency situations as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
