As a Cleared Armed Security Officer - DOD Patrol Aero in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a leading aerospace and defense location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. This post requires you to be both armed and possess a valid driver's license, as you may be tasked with mobile patrols in addition to walking rounds. You will interact with employees, contractors, and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication at all times. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients and visitors.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activities and maintain a secure environment.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials to help control entry and exit at the location.
• Remain alert for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with emergency response activities as directed, including coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when required.
• Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• Must have a active Texas Armed Guard Card. 
• Must have a active DOD Clearance. 
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age. 
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
