As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a dynamic aerospace and defense location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to all personnel and visitors. This is an armed and driving post, so you will be responsible for both carrying a firearm and operating a vehicle as part of your daily duties. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Monitor and control access to restricted areas, verifying credentials and authorizations as required.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of activities, observations, and incidents.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency response teams when necessary.
• Remain alert and attentive to surroundings, identifying and reporting any suspicious activity or security-related hazards.
• Operate communication devices and security-related equipment as required for the post.
• Participate in ongoing training to maintain required certifications and proficiency with armed patrol responsibilities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Must have a active DOD Clearance
• Must have a active Texas Armed Security License 
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
