As a Security Officer - Unarmed Site Patrol in Talladega, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As a Patrol Armed Security Professional with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will play a crucial role in helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a welcoming environment for all who visit or work at the facility. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout designated areas, maintaining a strong and visible presence to help promote a sense of well-being, and responding promptly to any security-related concerns. You will also interact with staff, patients, and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and address potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report suspicious activity.
• Maintain detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff and visitors to promote a secure environment while upholding professional conduct.
• Follow all protocols for armed posts, maintaining proper handling and control of assigned equipment at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience with X-ray screening is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
