As a Security Officer - Mall Patrol Unarmed in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will be a key presence at a bustling retail location, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a welcoming environment for both customers and staff. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help discourage unwanted activity, and responding promptly to any security-related concerns. This is a driving post, requiring you to navigate the property and provide a reassuring presence throughout the area. You will also be expected to deliver outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and employees, and uphold Allied Universal's values of agility, reliability, and innovation. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner within the retail location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or incidents encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
• Work closely with store staff and visitors to address security-related concerns and provide assistance as needed.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of security-related incidents and daily activities as required by Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• A Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
