As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere at a busy retail location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the property, remaining highly visible to provide peace of mind to guests and employees, and responding promptly to any security-related concerns. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. You will also have the opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service, assisting visitors and building positive relationships with those in the area. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the retail location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail environment and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site staff to maintain a welcoming and orderly environment.
• Assist with access control procedures and provide directions or information to customers and visitors as requested.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
