As a Security Professional - Government Site - Bike Patrol in Cary, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a government location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and interacting with staff, visitors, and the public in a professional and approachable manner. You may be required to ride a bike during your patrols, offering a dynamic and engaging way to monitor the area. Providing exceptional customer service and clear communication will be central to your role, as you respond to questions and assist individuals as needed. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits and verifying identification as required by site policies.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of security-related activities, incidents, and observations during the shift.
• Communicate professionally and courteously with staff, visitors, and local authorities as needed.
• Support emergency response efforts by following established protocols and providing assistance as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to ride a bike as part of job responsibilities.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
