As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic technology-focused location, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols to help to deter unauthorized activity. This position requires a valid driver's license, as you may be responsible for driving as part of your duties. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the location to help maintain authorized access.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report any unusual findings.
• Document observations and incidents clearly and promptly in daily activity reports or incident logs.
• Communicate with staff, visitors, and/or vendors in a professional manner to address inquiries and direct them as needed.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal management and local contacts to support security-related objectives at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required for positions that involve driving, in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
