As a Security Professional - Patrol Monitor in Lewiston Woodville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent food and beverage location, you will play a vital role in maintaining a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the facility, monitoring access points, and assisting with security-related incidents as they arise. You will remain visible to help to deter potential issues and provide prompt, courteous assistance to anyone in need. This role requires strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, as you will interact regularly with staff and guests. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, respond to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, which may include both indoor and outdoor areas associated with food and beverage operations.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activities.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff, offering assistance as needed.
• Follow all Allied Universal guidelines and site-specific instructions related to the food and beverage environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Experience with x-ray screening is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
