As a Security Officer - Industrial Site - Full Time in Athens, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .

As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in supporting security-related operations through communication and coordination. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and relaying critical information, assisting with access control, and providing exceptional customer service to employees and visitors. By maintaining a visible presence and utilizing technology to track and document activities, you will help to deter potential incidents and contribute to a secure environment. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced setting and are comfortable using computers or tablets. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies in a manufacturing and industrial location, providing customer service to clients and visitors.
  • Operate as a dispatcher, coordinating communication between security-related personnel and responding units as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Monitor and document activities and incidents, maintaining accurate records for the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Assist with emergency response activities by communicating information to appropriate parties and dispatching necessary resources.
  • Collaborate with team members and site personnel to support a secure environment.
  • Utilize security-related technology and systems to monitor alarms, access points, and/or surveillance equipment as required.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
