As an Armed Security Guard - Corporate Tower in Times Square , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in creating a secure environment within a financial institution location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the premises, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. This is an armed post, requiring you to carry and maintain control of your assigned firearm while on duty. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the highest standards of professionalism. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted incidents and provide reassurance to employees, visitors, and clients within a financial institution setting.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering and/or exiting the location.
• Report and document all incidents, observations, and/or activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel as necessary during incidents.
• Maintain proficiency in the handling of firearms and adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies regarding armed posts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid Armed Guard Card or License.
• Possess a valid Law Enforcement Officer License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
