As a Security Guard - CRE Unarmed Patrol in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a commercial real estate location. Your responsibilities include conducting regular patrols throughout assigned areas, remaining visibly present to help to deter potential security-related incidents, and providing prompt assistance to those on-site. You will be expected to interact professionally with tenants, visitors, and staff, delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication at all times. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Assist with site access control and visitor management as required by location guidelines.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs or reports of daily activities and incidents.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
