As a Security Guard - Media Facility - Full Time in Bellevue, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom environment. In this role, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents while supporting a welcoming atmosphere. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with people throughout the location, and respond promptly to any security-related concerns. Exceptional communication skills and a commitment to outstanding customer service are essential, as you will often be the first point of contact for visitors and staff. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Document observations and incidents according to company and client protocols.
  • Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with access control and general inquiries as needed.
  • Maintain a visible Allied Universal presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services when required.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
