As a Dispatch Officer in a dynamic tech and media environment, you will play a pivotal role in supporting security-related operations at a leading location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring alarm panels, managing access control systems, and coordinating communication between security teams and staff. You will help to deter incidents by maintaining a visible presence and responding promptly to calls for assistance. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies for the location.
• Respond to incidents and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate emergency response activities as needed.
• Monitor and coordinate communications for the location, dispatching personnel as required and maintaining accurate records of all activity.
• Assist in helping to deter unauthorized activity by observing and reporting any unusual or suspicious behavior within the premises.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to support security-related operations, noting any irregularities or potential issues.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members, site personnel, and/or first responders to address incidents and maintain a secure environment.
• Operate and monitor security-related technology systems, such as surveillance cameras, access control systems, and communication devices, to support ongoing operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Experience with access control systems and/or badge systems is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Applicants should be comfortable using a computer or tablet, which is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
