As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare environment, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help maintain a secure and welcoming atmosphere for all staff, patients, and visitors. Your visible presence throughout the location will help to deter security-related incidents, while your commitment to customer service and clear communication will create a positive experience for those you encounter. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to service calls, and assist with access control as needed. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or unauthorized access.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or security-related concerns within the healthcare location.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas as required by site procedures.
• Support emergency response activities and assist with evacuations or drills as directed by site management or Allied Universal leadership.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of activities, incidents, and observations during assigned shifts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
