As a Security Officer - Warehouse Site - Afternoon Shift in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the assigned area. Your responsibilities will include monitoring access points, responding to alarms, and assisting employees and visitors with a professional and customer-focused approach. You will use your communication skills to interact with a diverse range of individuals, handle security-related situations with composure, and support a welcoming environment. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and observations during patrols.
• Support access control procedures by observing entrances and exits, verifying credentials as required, and assisting visitors and employees as needed.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, staff, and visitors to provide assistance and relay important information.
• Remain alert to potential security-related risks within a technology-focused environment, adapting to changing conditions as necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 plus years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
