As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a dynamic retail location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help deter potential security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to all visitors and staff. This role is both armed and driving, requiring you to carry out your duties with professionalism and integrity while meeting all licensing and driving requirements. You may also be required to patrol on a bike, adding variety to your day-to-day activities. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and support a secure environment.
• Observe for signs of suspicious behavior, unauthorized access, or other security-related concerns within the retail or mall setting.
• Document and report incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
• Work in varying environmental and physical conditions as required by the location.
• Interact with the public, store personnel, and law enforcement as necessary, always representing Allied Universal in a courteous and professional manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Must possess an Armed Guard Card or license as required by state and/or local laws and regulations.
• Must have Level III Armed Certification if required by Texas state law.
• Must be able to ride a bike as part of job duties.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located and meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
