As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a manufacturing and industrial location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, managing badge access, and conducting routine patrols throughout the assigned areas. By maintaining a visible presence and providing excellent customer service, you will help to deter security-related incidents and support a welcoming atmosphere for employees and visitors. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Assist with access control procedures at the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points.
• Support the implementation of site-specific policies and procedures related to security-related matters.
• Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting visitors and employees as needed.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity through regular monitoring and presence at designated access points.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns.
• Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate for the site and situation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
