As an Access Control Officer in an automotive manufacturing environment, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure and welcoming atmosphere. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the facility to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing excellent customer service and clear communication while remaining alert to any unusual activity. This position also requires the ability to drive as part of your duties, so a valid driver's license is necessary. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Assist with access control duties at the location, verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Follow site-specific policies and procedures related to security-related activities.
• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by addressing inquiries and offering assistance as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to observe for unusual activity and help to deter potential issues.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or concerns promptly to the appropriate personnel.
• Support emergency response activities and participate in drills as required by site policies and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
