As a Security Professional - Processing Facility - Weekdays in Zeeland, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more .

As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service by assisting individuals and addressing concerns as they arise. This position requires a valid driver's license and includes driving responsibilities as part of your patrol duties. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter of the food and beverage location to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Communicate with Allied Universal management and client representatives regarding security-related matters as needed.
• Assist with access control and visitor management processes specific to the food and beverage environment.
• Complete required reports and logs in a timely and accurate manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required for positions that involve driving responsibilities.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
