As a Security Guard - Healthcare Facility Patrol in MOUNT VERNON, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will play a vital role in helping to create a secure and welcoming environment for all visitors, staff, and patients. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the premises, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing exceptional customer service. You will be a key point of contact, responding to inquiries with professionalism and care, while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and promote a secure environment.
• Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or unusual activities to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
• Assist with emergency response activities as needed, including guiding individuals during evacuations and/or other urgent situations.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and onsite contacts to support a secure and welcoming location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
