As a Security Professional -Distribution Center- Full Time in Yonkers, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

As a member of the Allied Universal team, you will play a key role in access control at a major logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and conducting regular patrols throughout assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents. By maintaining a strong presence and providing exceptional customer service, you will contribute to a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. You will also respond promptly to incidents, communicate clearly with team members, and support loss prevention initiatives. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
• Assist with visitor and contractor check-in and check-out procedures according to site-specific policies.
• Perform regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Provide customer service by answering questions and offering directions to authorized personnel and visitors.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.
• Support emergency response activities as directed by site management and Allied Universal protocols.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and communicate any security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
