As a Security Officer – Unarmed Site Patrol in Brookwood, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .

As a member of the Allied Universal team, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a manufacturing and industrial location. In this unarmed patrol position, you will conduct routine patrols throughout the site, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible and approachable. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication at all times. This post is a driving position, so you will be responsible for patrolling the premises in a vehicle as well as on foot, observing and reporting any unusual activity or concerns. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns within the manufacturing and industrial environment.
• Communicate with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding incidents or security-related matters as required.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as needed.
• Document incidents and daily activities accurately and promptly according to company and client requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or a rustic guard shack may be present at this location; candidates should be comfortable working in these conditions, preference given to those with related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is preferred and may be required for positions that involve primarily driving, subject to Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
