As a Security Officer - Media Site - Full Time in Boise, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Screener in a dynamic tech-driven environment, you will be at the forefront of maintaining a secure and welcoming atmosphere for all individuals entering the location. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access points, verifying credentials, and assisting with badge control to help to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with employees, visitors, and contractors, providing clear communication and outstanding customer service while upholding the high standards of Allied Universal. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screening of individuals entering the location, following established security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Provide customer service to all personnel and visitors by addressing inquiries and assisting with access protocols.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Monitor entry points and help to deter unauthorized access to the premises.
  • Report any unusual activity, security-related concerns, or incidents to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client contacts.
  • Collaborate with other Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure environment for employees, contractors, and visitors.
  • Participate in emergency response activities as required by site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possession of a valid Guard Card is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
