As a Security Officer - Tech Site - Full Time in Boise, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Security Officer specializing in access control for a leading organization in the Tech, Media, and Telecom sector, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment at a dynamic and evolving location. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols to maintain a visible presence. You will interact with employees, visitors, and contractors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication at all times. This position requires you to be comfortable working in unique on-site facilities and may involve driving responsibilities, as a valid driver's license is required for this role. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including access control measures at the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment for staff, visitors, and assets.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and address any security-related concerns.
• Support emergency response activities as appropriate, including assisting with evacuations or other urgent situations.
• Document incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client procedures.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and team members to provide information and assistance as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located is required for driving positions only.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Willingness to work at locations with limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or rustic guard shacks is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
