As a Security Officer - Retail Site Patrol - Driver in Torrance, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail and mall location, you will play a critical role in helping to create a secure and welcoming environment for shoppers, employees, and visitors. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the property, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service. This position requires driving as part of your daily duties, so a valid driver's license is necessary. You will serve as a key point of contact for those in need of assistance, using your communication skills to address concerns and support a positive experience. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the retail location by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with resolution while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the shopping center and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any irregularities or incidents, including property damage, theft, or unauthorized persons, according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Assist with access control, monitoring entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or activity.
• Work collaboratively with retail staff, tenants, and/or local law enforcement when necessary to address security-related concerns.
• Provide visible presence throughout the location to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other disruptive behavior.
• Support Allied Universal in delivering high-quality security-related services tailored to the needs of the retail environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required for positions that involve driving responsibilities in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
