As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic retail and mall location, you will play a vital role in helping to deter security-related incidents by maintaining a visible presence throughout the property. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols, monitoring assigned areas, and interacting with visitors to provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will be instrumental in supporting a welcoming environment while helping to address any security-related concerns that may arise. This post requires you to meet Allied Universal's driver policy requirements, as you may be asked to operate vehicles as part of your patrol duties. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance issues within the location.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances and exits as needed.
• Communicate professionally with the public, staff, and/or law enforcement as required.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and daily activities.
• Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols and training while performing assigned duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license meeting Allied Universal driver policy requirements is required for driving positions.
• Possession of a Guard Card or security-related license is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Ability to ride a bike for extended periods of time is preferred.
• Ability to operate a Segway or T3 is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 plus years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
