As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrols Roving in Suffern, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will play a vital role in creating a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the facility, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will interact with a diverse range of individuals, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to support a welcoming atmosphere. Pay Rate: $17.50 - $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of the healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential disturbances.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification, and helping to manage visitor flow as needed.
• Support emergency response activities by following established protocols and communicating with Allied Universal and site leadership as required.
• Document incidents, observations, and/or irregularities in daily activity reports and other required documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
