As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a utilities location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the assigned area, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any concerns that arise. You will interact with employees, visitors, and contractors, delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication at all times. This position may require you to adapt to limited on-site facilities and work in a variety of outdoor or rustic settings. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identifying potential hazards.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, maintenance issues, or security-related concerns within the location.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management as needed.
• Assist with access control procedures, verifying identification and monitoring entry and exit points.
• Support emergency response efforts by following protocols and assisting first responders as required.
• Complete required documentation such as incident reports, daily activity logs, and/or visitor logs accurately and promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience working in limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or rustic guard shacks is preferred.
• A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
